Every trade has patterns. In the steel trade, we’re seeing a not-so-desirable one. The pattern? Copying.
Believe it or not, but we recently caught one of the new names in the industry using our website text. Word for word. And when we say word for word, we mean they even overlooked changing our company name.
Yes, we’re serious. Exhibit A:

All jokes aside, this is a very, very serious matter, and a growing issue in our industry right now. New steel companies are popping up like startups in Silicon Valley, but few actually understand the trade.
To unsuspecting clients, their promises appear too good to be true. Their rates are low and they promise the world. So, they win the jobs.
And that’s when things go south.
By the time we at Alia Steel Fixing Ltd are assigned to take over, the client is in a bigger mess than before they started. The site is behind schedule, costs are exceeding the budget, and everyone is frustrated to say the least.
The moral of the story? You can copy someone’s words, but you can’t copy 10+ years of real experience.
